ESPY was proud to send a delegation to ISS World Middle East, the world’s largest gathering of regional law enforcement, intelligence, and homeland security analysts, telecoms, and financial crime investigators that took place in Dubai on June 28-30, 2021.
Over the three days of the conference, leading companies presented cutting-edge methodologies and tools that can help law enforcement, public safety, government, and private sector intelligence communities fight drug trafficking, cyber money laundering, human trafficking, terrorism, and other criminal activities. The focus was on telecommunications networks, the internet, and social media.
The ESPY delegation and booth
The conference was a great opportunity for us to meet end-users like analysts and public servants who are responsible for cybercrime investigations, electronic surveillance, and intelligence gathering. We also met with numerous potential partners from around the globe—it was really exciting to see so much experience and knowledge in one place. ESPY’s booth drew a lot of traffic, and our team was kept busy answering questions and providing information to the conference participants.
Using OSINT for good
We believe that OSINT is a crucial tool for fighting crime. Our presentation, titled “Detect, prevent, and counter malicious actors”, focused on foreign and domestic malicious actors in conflict, political, and media arenas. We shared information about a new generation of national-scale big data tools that can be used to detect, prevent, and counter crime such as ESPY’s latest innovation, the OSINT Mass Profiler, and other ESPY OSINT platforms and API’s. The room was packed and we got great feedback from the audience. A big thank you to the incredible ESPY team who worked hard to explain the product and provide value to the conference attendees.
